The national delegation discusses with the Ambassador of the European Union the humanitarian situation in Yemen

Today, the national delegation headed by Mohamed Abdel Salam discussed with the European Union Ambassador to Yemen Hans Grundberg and his deputy, through video technology, the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Yemen due to the aggression and the blockade, especially with the outbreak of the Corona pandemic in the world.

The meeting touched on the political and economic aspects related to the possibility of the European Union playing a positive role in this.

The Ambassador of the European Union, expressed the Union’s readiness to provide technical assistance in opening Sana’a International Airport, as well as the willingness to provide assistance in relation to the corona virus and in the humanitarian aspect and other technical and logistical assistance.
