The role of receiving and handing over between the presidents and vice presidents of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, the predecessor and successor

Wednesday 4/3/2024, a receiving and handover session took place at the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation between the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the predecessor, Bahri Engineer Yasser Muhammad Ahmed, and the successor, Zaid Ahmed Al-Washli, and between the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, the predecessor, Zaid Al-Washli, and the successor, Nasr Abdullah Al-Nusairi.

During the receipt and delivery, the committee assigned by the leadership of the Ministry of Transport noted the vital role of the Red Sea Ports Corporation and the service pillar it represents to serve the interests of the Yemeni people, stressing the importance of translating the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to enhance efforts to advance port services.

The committee, consisting of the Director of the Office of the Minister of Transport, Ahmed Al-Wazir, the Directors of Legal Affairs at the Ministry, Mansour Al-Wafi, the Reviewer, Adel Abdul-Malik, and the Follow-up, Fahim Al-Salwa, urged the leadership of the new institution to work seriously and responsibly to keep pace with the requirements of the stage that the country is going through.

The successor president of the corporation praised the efforts of the former president, Engineer Yasser Mohamed, during his leadership of the corporation and the successes he achieved during his tenure, especially in light of the breakthrough that the corporation’s ports witnessed in terms of the influx of ships loaded with various goods, especially container ships, and the impact of the proposals, programs, plans, and solutions that he presented. Positive in the speed of handling goods and containers.

For his part, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Al-Khalaf stressed the importance of everyone’s cooperation and solidarity to overcome all difficulties and obstacles, develop performance, correct and correct plans and programs that will be reflected in the institution’s performance and the advancement of its services.
