The Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation concludes the training program (TOT)

 

On Thursday, November 26, 2020, the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation concluded the activities of the training program for promoting transparency, integrity and combating corruption, and a training of trainers course ( TOT ) in the field of anti-corruption, which was organized by the Ministry of Transport in cooperation with the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Authority for the institutions and bodies affiliated with the Ministry in Hodeidah Governorate. .

The program comes within the framework of the partnership between the Ministry of Transport and the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Authority in promoting transparency and combating corruption, as ( 105 ) participants from the institutions and bodies of the Ministry of Transport in Hodeidah governorate received skills, knowledge and practical workshops on the concept of corruption, its forms and types, its relationship to personal and methodological values, and how to combat and eliminate it.

The trainees were also acquainted with the arts, techniques, trends, aids, training methods and modern planning in the training process to keep pace with developments in the field of anti-corruption, transparency, integrity and good governance.

The final day’s sessions were devoted to discussing the framework and themes of the draft code of professional and ethical conduct for the employees of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, which will be enriched in the coming days to take measures to be adopted in a way that enhances preventive measures to combat corruption.

The participants in the training program expressed their gratitude for this administrative and institutional orientation by the leadership of the Ministry of Transport represented by Major General / Zakaria Yahya Al-Shami, Minister of Transport and the leadership of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation represented by Captain / Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, Chairman of the Board and Engineer / Yahya Abbas Sharaf El-Din, Vice Chairman of the Board And all those in charge of the training process, including trainers and staff.

The training program included many training, legislative and legal knowledge and national anti-corruption mechanisms in accordance with the contents of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state in light of the standards and principles of good governance.
