Transport and Electricity win over Service and Justice in the Ministries Football Championship
The Ministry of Transport team defeated its rival, the Ministry of Civil Service team, with five free goals in the meeting that brought them together at Al-Thawra Stadium.
The meeting came as part of the first round of the Sixth Group competitions for the first championship of ministries, government agencies and institutions for the Martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad Cup.
The quintet of transportation scored Saeed Al-Hamiqani, Ahmed Al-Qudsi, Asaad Al-Qamasi, Muhammad Jadan and Salem Saeed, to put transportation with three points in its balance and lead the group, while the service team came fourth without points.
In the second meeting for the same group, in the presence of the Minister of Justice, Judge Nabil Al-Azzani, the Ministry of Electricity team achieved a valuable victory over the Ministry of Justice team, with two goals to one.
The Kahraba team advanced in the first half with a goal by its player Kamal Al-Masuri, before the Al-Adl team equalized the score through Bakil Saleh, and moments before the end of the match, Al-Kahraba scored the winning goal through Al-Adl defender Hussein Al-Jaradi by mistake.
With this victory, the Ministry of Electricity team won the first three points to occupy second place, lagging behind on goal difference from transportation, and Al-Adl came in third place without points.
The championship competitions will continue tomorrow, Wednesday, with two matches for the third group. The first brings together the Presidency of the Republic and the Tax Authority, and in the second, the Ministry of Information team meets the Public Corporation for Roads and Bridges team.
