YRSPC :- Ministers of Transport and Oil, in Hodeida

A meeting held at the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation in the port of Hodeida headed by Minister of Transport, Abdulwahab Al-Durra and Oil and Minerals Ahmed Daris discussed this morning the situation of the ports of the Corporation and the two oil and gas companies – Al-Hodeida branches and the mechanism for their continuation of their activities in light of the aggression and the brutal US-Saudi blockade.

The meeting, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Transport Mohammed Al-Hashemi, CEO of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Mohammed Abu Bakr Ishaq, and the two deputy executive directors of the two oil companies, Eng.

In the meeting, Ministers of Transport and Oil referred to the importance of coordination and development of work in the various units and institutions of the ports, oil and minerals sectors as one of the most important economic sectors in the country.

They stressed the keenness to provide the necessary facilities to contribute to addressing the difficulties facing the activities of the institution and the two companies to ensure the continuation of providing their services to citizens and alleviating their suffering as a result of the continued aggression and siege.

Ministers Al-Durra and Daris praised the efforts of the leadership of the Red Sea Ports Corporation and the two Yemeni oil and gas companies, Al-Hodeidah branches, and those working to maintain the performance of the corporation and the two companies in light of the continued aggression and siege.

They explained that the meeting comes within the tasks of the leaderships of the two ministries to examine the conditions and activities of their affiliated sectors to ensure activating the role of the institution and the two companies and developing their performance in the coming stages.

The CEO of the Corporation and the Executive Vice-Presidents of the two oil and gas companies reviewed the general situation of the Corporation and the two companies in light of the siege of the ongoing aggression.

Appreciating the support and cooperation of Ministers of Transport and Oil in facilitating the work of the Corporation and the two branches of the two companies in the governorate.

The meeting was attended by the directors of the two Hodeida oil companies, Adnan Al-Jarmozi and the gas company, Mohammed Shaalal, the Vice President of the Corporation, Zaid Ahmed Al-Washli, the directors of the office of the head of the Corporation, Nabil Omar Al-Mazji, and the general departments of the Corporation, the two oil and gas companies, and a number of officials of the relevant authorities.

In addition, the Ministers of Transport and Oil, along with the CEO of the Corporation, visited the port of Hodeidah and reviewed the mechanism of unloading relief and oil ships arriving at the port berths.

We valued Al-Durra and Daris for the institution’s tangible efforts in providing facilities for the entry of fuel and food vessels, despite the port’s suffering from a siege by the countries of aggression.
