The Change and Construction Government Condemns the Burning of a Copy of the Holy Quran in America

The Change and Construction Government strongly condemned the act of the American criminal, Jake Lang, who burned a copy of the Holy Quran in the state of Michigan.

In a statement, the Change and Construction Government considered this crime an act of aggression against Islamic sanctities, a clear provocation of the feelings of more than a billion Muslims worldwide, and an incitement to hatred and violence based on religion.

It affirmed that the repeated insults to Islamic sanctities in America and Western countries, which are backed by the Zionist lobby, reflect a level of depravity and clear hostility towards Islam, Muslims, and the Abrahamic religions.

It called on Arab and Islamic countries to fulfill their responsibilities and take practical stances against these insults targeting Islamic sanctities, and to work towards a diplomatic and economic boycott of countries that permit the desecration of the Holy Quran. The Muslim world was urged to take widespread action and express outrage at these provocative crimes against all Muslims. Warnings were issued regarding the serious repercussions of these offenses, which constitute a violation of all international conventions and laws.

It was reiterated that these offenses reflect hatred and malice, fuel extremism and violence, and threaten global peace. The statement emphasized that desecrating sacred sites is contrary to all moral and humanitarian values and is unacceptable.

The government was called upon to take legal action against the perpetrators of these crimes to ensure they are not repeated. The international community was urged to take a firm stand against violations of Islamic holy sites.
