A consultative meeting was held for media and relations officials at the Ministry of Transport, its bodies and institutions

 

The first consultative meeting for media and relations officials at the Ministry of Transport, its bodies and institutions, was held in Sana’a , organized by the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated institutions under the slogan “Towards a unified media discourse within the framework of the national vision to build the modern Yemeni state.”

At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, stressed keenness to develop human capabilities, especially in the fields of media, reports, publications and community awareness.

He pointed to the importance of the media’s role in uncovering the crimes committed by the coalition of aggression and mercenaries six years ago, and said, “Yemen is being subjected to aggression and blockade by the coalition of aggression. As a result of the aggression and the blockade for six years. ”

Al-Junaid touched on the killing, destruction and detention of oil derivative tankers at sea for several months to the Yemeni people, and the necessity of presenting them to the local and international opinion in the media.

In his turn, Minister of Transport Zakaria Al-Shami indicated that the Ministry of Transport and the sectors, bodies and institutions affiliated to it focused, within its plan for the year 2021, on aspects of training and qualification at the professional and technical levels, including media training due to its importance and role in uncovering what the maritime, land and air transport sectors are exposed to in terms of targeting by Aggression’s alliance and its mercenaries.

He said, “Based on the national vision, the ministry, its bodies and institutions will work during the current year to intensify training courses to upgrade the capabilities of the transport sectors technically and professionally.”

Minister Al-Shami clarified that the first meeting of media officials will come out with visions that will unify the media discourse and work out a strategy that contributes to the promotion and development of transportation fields. International “.

While the head of the Radio and Television Department at the Faculty of Media, Sana’a University, Dr. Muhammad Al-Faqih, stressed the importance of the role of the media and its great influence in various directions and paths.

He pointed to the importance of meeting media and relations officials with the Ministry of Transport and its bodies to discuss the media and information plans of the Ministry and its sectors, and to enhance the effective partnership between the Ministry and the media, especially with regard to air, land and sea transport.

During the meeting, in the presence of the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Transport, Chairman of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority Walid Al-Wadaei, the Director of the Local Corporation for Land Transport Muhammad Al-Asri, the assistant agents of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority and the Director of the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology Dr. Naji Al-Sahmi, a brief presentation on the media work, its role and importance to the Ministry of Transport and its bodies and institutions.

The five-day meeting, with the participation of 35 of the Ministry of Transport, its bodies and institutions, aims to improve and develop media work in the various fields of transport in a modern manner, and to hold training courses in drafting news and reports, producing and directing publications, and press and media arts.
