Al-Ahly Sana’a team won the Mawlid Al-Nabawi Basketball

 

Al-Ahly Sana’a team won the Mawlid Al-Nabawi Basketball Cup, defeating the transport team, 90 to 56, in a meeting organized by the Ministry of Transport in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce in sanaa capital and in coordination with the Basketball Association branch in sanaa capital .

The people of Sana’a were able to finish the first and second periods by 23/13 and 25/23, so that the emperor, led by his coach, Saber Abdel Wahed, continued his superiority in the third and fourth periods, with a score of 21/10 and 21/10.

After the match ended, Deputy Transport Minister Muhammad Al-Hashemi, Undersecretary for Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry Adel Al-Madani, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce in the capital city  Muhammad Salah, Al-Ahly Club’s Undersecretary for Cultural Affairs Mohammed Al-Ansi and General Secretary Mohammed Al-Yarimi handed Al-Ahly team the first place cup, gold medals and a sum of money, and the Transport Team the Center Cup. Second, silver medals and a sum of money.

Ministry of Transport honored the Chamber of Commerce and Al-Ahly Club with the shield of the Ministry for their role in contributing to the success of the tournament.

In the honoring, in the presence of the media official Jamal Al-Hadrami, the sports official Ghamdan Al-Harazi and the head of the basketball branch in the secretariat, Abdul Salam Sabra, the Deputy Minister of Transport stressed the keenness of the state and the government to give the youth, care and support their activities and programs.

He praised the cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce, the Basketball Branch in the capital city  and Al-Ahly Club in the success of the event.

Meanwhile, the Al-Ahly Club representative pointed out the importance of following the example of the Great Prophet, his morals and his biography, praising the interaction of everyone in making the occasion a success and activating youth and sports activities.

In addition, Deputy Minister of Transport Mohammed Al-Hashemi visited Al-Ahly Club Museum and Library.

Al-Hashemi heard from Al-Ahly’s media official, Jamal Al-Hadrami, in the presence of Al-Ahly President Hassan Al-Kbous, a clarification about the museum, which includes in its flanks the cups, championships and achievements that Al-Ahly has achieved since its establishment and the most prominent founders and stars in various games.
