Discuss the mechanisms for implementing the directives to provide benefits and facilities at the Red Sea Ports Corporation to receive container ships in the port of Hodeidah

a meeting at the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation today, Saturday, 8/14-2021 AD, chaired by the Corporation’s Chairman, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, discussed the mechanisms for implementing directives and providing facilities in all respects with regard to receiving container ships through the port of Hodeida

The meeting, in the presence of the Vice President of the Foundation, Eng. Yahya Abbas Sharaf El-Din, and the directors general of the departments and their deputies, discussed ways to enhance the services provided by the various departments and provide their requirements to raise their readiness

In the meeting, Captain Isaac stressed the importance of implementing the directives regarding the tasks and activities of the departments, and dealing with all exceptional circumstances, including raising the readiness and providing the announced facilities to receive container ships through the port of Hodeida

He praised the efforts made by the political leadership and the National Salvation Government to overcome the repercussions of the disaster of raising customs duties at Aden Customs, achieve living stability and provide basic and necessary commodities through the Corporation’s ports

He stressed the importance of concerted efforts of department managers, teamwork, and coordination with all agencies, relevant authorities and the private sector to ensure its implementation and success so that everyone can perceive its results. 

During the meeting, it was emphasized to feel the responsibility entrusted to everyone, to activate all channels of communication to achieve the best services for customers, to work on smooth procedures between the various departments, to put forward perceptions, set priorities, address imbalances, if any, and enhance the service performance of the institution

The meeting approved the formation of a round-the-clock operations room to communicate between the Corporation’s departments, the private sector and the concerned agencies to achieve integration in performance
