Discussing the difficulties facing the Transportation Authority branch in Sana’a Governorate

Today’s meeting, chaired by the President of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs Walid Al-Wadaei, discussed the difficulties facing the authority’s branch in Sana’a Governorate.

The meeting, which included the director of the authority’s branch in the governorate, Ahmed Hajar, his deputy Fouad Al-Awali, the general director of financial resources development at the governorate’s office, Abdo Katheer, and the branch’s staff, reviewed the performance of the organization of screening and transportation lines and the removal of violating collection points.

At the meeting, Al-Wadaei praised the efforts made in the field to strengthen the regulations and legal frameworks to regulate sorting, transmission lines, collect fees, and control violations in this regard.

He stressed the importance of continuing to improve performance to ensure the prevention of random collection in sorting and lines … pointing out that efforts have resulted in correcting many imbalances, especially after merging transport offices with the authority.

The head of the authority praised the cooperation of the leadership of Sana’a governorate in overcoming obstacles, considering that the successes achieved by the authority’s branch in increasing revenues reflects the vision to improve performance and contribute to improving and developing financial indicators.

At the meeting, the director of the branch, Ahmed Hajar, was honored in recognition of his efforts and contributions in correcting the institutional structure of transportation and achieving a tangible impact in improving collection fees and organizing lines.
