Discussing the work mechanism of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority branch in the Capital sana’a

A meeting held , chaired by the President of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs, Walid Al-Wadaei, discussed the mechanism for organizing the work of the Authority’s branch in the Capital’s secretariat in the field of road transport, developing and updating it through legal and regulated ways.

The meeting, in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Transport for the Land Transport Sector, Abdul Malik Ali, and the Director General of the Authority’s Branch in the Municipality, Muhammad al-Shahari, and the directors of the Authority’s offices in the directorates, reviewed the problems and difficulties facing work in the field and the possibility of solving them in a way that promotes the upgrading of tasks and specializations and the collection and development of resources.

The meeting discussed the mechanism for organizing parking and sorting in the secretariat and directorates, and coordinating with the security authorities in the organizing process, as it is an important aspect in developing the work of land transport in the various governorates of the Republic.

The head of the authority stressed the need to work in the field in the spirit of one-team in order to reduce the burdens on citizens and raise the level of work in the field of land transport.

He pointed out that merging the transport office with the authority would achieve a qualitative leap in the right path and field professional work, in implementation of the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council to prevent duplication and random collection in the roads and sorting.

He indicated that the regulation will take place under the framework of the Land Transport Law and the Law of the Ministry of Finance and with official documents sealed by the Ministry of Finance seal and the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs, and all revenues will be transferred to the Central Bank.
