Discussion of Presidential Commission’s recommendations at Hodeida port

Saturday 6-21-1444 AH, /1-14-2023 AD, the head of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Mohammed Abu Bakr bin Ishaq, discussed with the directors of the two Yemeni oil companies in Hodeidah Governorate, Adnan Mohammed Al-Jarmozi and Gas Mohammed Abdullah Shaalal, the recommendations of the presidential committee in strengthening security and public safety measures in Hodeidah port.

The meeting, in the presence of the Corporation’s Vice President, Zaid Ahmed Al-Washli, reviewed the aspects of cooperation between the Corporation and the two oil and gas companies, and the facilities provided by the Corporation to fuel ships, out of a sense of the national responsibility it bears towards the Yemeni people to cover their needs and all vital sectors of petroleum materials.

In the meeting, Captain Ishaq reviewed the Corporation’s programs to enhance security and safety measures and the arrangements made upon the arrival and unloading of oil derivatives ships at the port of Hodeidah.

He stressed the necessity of doubling the strengthening of occupational safety measures by the sectors operating in the port to preserve the facilities and technical staff working in the field.

For their part, the directors of the two oil and gas companies appreciated the facilities provided by the Corporation to the two companies and the priority given to fuel ships.

The meeting was attended by the Director of Engineering Projects at the Corporation, Eng. Sami Maqbouly, and Marine Operations, Captain Mohammed Al-Sayes, and the Deputy Director General of Technical Affairs, Abdul Wahed Al-Safani, and Marine Operations, Iyad Al-Samawi, and Director of the Industrial Safety and Security Department, Mohammed Al-Madani.
