launching a training course on government project management according to the national vision methodology and professional project management at the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation
Saturday 6-14-1444 AH,1-7-2023 AD, the President of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Mohammed Abu Bakr bin Ishaq, inaugurated in the training hall in the port of Hodeidah the training course in professional project management.
The six-day course aims to provide about 35 technical, engineering and administrative cadres with the necessary skills and capabilities to formulate projects and manage their planning and follow-up according to the methodology of the national vision and international standards for project management related to the initiatives of their units and departments and the practical practices of time and financial planning.
At the inauguration, Captain Ishaq explained that the course comes within the framework of the state’s directions and its keenness to qualify the cadres working in government institutions and implement the goals of the national vision.
He pointed out the importance of such training programs implemented by the Executive Office of Vision Management in the field of professional project management to achieve success and the desired goals in the various executive and administrative stages of projects in the service and economic sectors.
He urged the participants to make the best use of the course axes and apply them to practical reality. He praised the efforts of the Executive Office of the National Vision Department in supporting the Foundation’s efforts in implementing the projects, activities and programs included in the Foundation’s plans, including project management training.
The course, which is implemented by the program trainer, includes the head of the Support and Assistance Unit in the Executive Office of the National Vision, Muhammad Khaled Al-Bazli, in the presence of the head of the Executive Unit of the Executive Vision at the Ministry of Transport, Nadhir Al-Dubai, the capacity officer in the Executive Unit of the National Vision at the Ministry of Transport, Fouad Al-Hadi, and the head of the sub-executive unit of the National Vision in the Corporation, Dr. Waddah. All members of the sub-executive unit and a number of the organization’s cadres.
The course includes many axes, including the stages of project management and implementation, “the project life cycle and the integration of its performance,” up to the closing and handover stage, as well as the controls and provisions of project implementation, and the distribution of tasks.
Also, practicing governance in project management and adaptation, national strategic planning in the national vision, and other general procedures.
