The Sanaa Airport Lands and Campus Conservation Committee discusses its work plan

In its meeting , headed by the Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, the main committee for preserving the lands and campus of Sana’a International Airport discussed the committee’s work plan for the year 2024 and an evaluation of what was accomplished during the past period.
The committee, in the presence of the heads of the subcommittees, reviewed the reports submitted by the fence committees, receiving complaints, redressing those affected, street construction, and the follow-up committee, on what had been accomplished in the field, especially the fence committee.
At the meeting, Lieutenant General Al-Ruwaishan expressed his thanks to the heads of the subcommittees that had made great strides in the tasks assigned to them, urging everyone to make more efforts and continue working at a high pace in a way that contributes to preserving the airport’s lands and campus.
He stressed the interest of the President of the Supreme Political Council in the lands and campus of Sanaa Airport, pointing to the importance of developing and modernizing the airport in all aspects in accordance with international specifications and requirements and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and in line with future ambitions.
Lieutenant General Al-Ruwaishan stressed the need to move from the stage of studies to field work in order to identify the shortcomings and work to address them, each in his field of expertise.

Meanwhile, the caretaker Minister of Transport and Vice-Chairman of the committee, Abdul Wahab Al-Durrah, confirmed that the subcommittees are carrying out their duties and each committee is working within the scope of the tasks assigned to it. Pointing out the importance of approving the committee’s work plan and establishing a working mechanism to complete the tasks of the main and subcommittees.
