Meteorology predicts cold winter weather on mountain heights, deserts and hills
The National Meteorological Center predicts a cold winter weather on parts of the mountainous highlands, deserts and inland plateaus within the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather forecast received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that a cold winter weather prevails over parts of the mountainous highlands, deserts and internal plateaus, especially on the governorates of “Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, Ibb, Al-Dali ‘, Jabal Lahj, Abyan, Sahara Shabwa and Hadramout”. He pointed out that, through observational and predictive data, it was found that large parts of the country’s mountainous regions and parts of deserts and internal plateaus were affected by a cold and dry air mass.
The center alerted citizens, residents of the aforementioned governorates, especially the elderly, children and farmers, from the cold weather during the evening and early morning.
