The authority honors the first generation of Sana’a International Airport leaders

The General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, represented by Sana’a International Airport, honored  the first generation of airport leaders, in appreciation of their efforts in serving civil aviation and air navigation at Sana’a Airport.

 

In the honoring, the Undersecretary of the authority, Raed Talib Jabal, affirmed the authority’s interest in previous leaders who have a long history in the field of civil aviation and air navigation, and the development of technical and professional work in this field.

 

He pointed out the importance of honoring these leaders who contributed to the development of civil aviation fields and the qualification of many cadres.

 

In turn, the Director General of Sana’a International Airport, Khaled Al-Shayef, considered the honor the least duty that can be presented to these technical and professional missions… praising the keenness of the leadership of the Ministry of Transport and the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology to develop and modernize Sana’a Airport to be in full readiness in accordance with international requirements.

 

For his part, the advisor of the Ministry of Transport, the former director of Sanaa Airport, Ahmed Mayad, in the honorable speech, expressed thanks for this kind gesture from the leadership of the General Authority of Civil Aviation.

 

At the conclusion of the ceremony, which was attended by the Director General of Air Transport, the official spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority, Dr. Mazen Ghanem, and the Deputy Director of Sanaa Airport, Osan Jarallah Omar, shields and symbolic gifts were distributed to the first generation of the former leaders of Sana’a International Airport:
